Wu Jiang
Professor of the School of Management Science and Engineering, doctoral supervisor of management science and engineering, and master's supervisor of management science and engineering, project management, and applied statistics.
In 1995, he graduated from Southwest Petroleum University with a bachelor's degree in industrial management engineering; in 2001, he graduated from Southwest Petroleum University with a master's degree in management science and engineering; in 2004, he graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University with a doctorate in management science and engineering. He was a visiting scholar at Tamkang University in Taiwan, William Paterson University in the United States, and the University of Southern Mississippi.
From July 1995 to August 1998, he served as assistant economist of the Engineering Management Department of PetroChina Sichuan Oil and Gas Field Surface Construction Engineering No. 1 Company. From July 2001 to October 2001, he served as assistant economist of the Enterprise Management Department of Sinopec Beijing Petroleum Branch. From December 2004 to June 2022, he served as lecturer, associate professor and professor of the Department of Management Science and Engineering, School of Statistics, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Since July 2022, he has served as professor of the Department of Management Science, School of Management Science and Engineering, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
Research direction: decision analysis and enterprise management (supply chain management, operations management, multi-attribute decision making, efficiency evaluation, aviation network optimization, sustainable development, industrial economic analysis, etc.). He has Host and researched a number of national, provincial and municipal projects, and published more than 100 papers in Chinese and English in important domestic and foreign academic journals such as "Chinese Management Science", "Quantitative Economic and Technical Economic Research", "System Science and Mathematics", "Mathematical Statistics and Management", "Journal of Systems Management", "System Engineering", "China Population, Resources and Environment", "Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review", "European Journal of Operational Research", "Expert Systems With Applications", "International Journal of Production Economics", "International Journal of Systems Science: Operations & Logistics", "Annals of Operations Research", "Electronic Commerce Research and Applications", etc.
He was selected as one of the 15th batch of academic and technical leaders in Sichuan Province (management science and engineering disciplines), and was selected into the list of "China's Highly Cited Scholars" by Elsevier in 2021, 2022, and 2023. He is the deputy editor-in-chief of RAIRO-Operations Research (French operations research), a director of the Chinese Society for Management Science and Engineering, an executive director of the Enterprise Operations Research Branch of the Chinese Operations Research Society, a director of the Sichuan System Engineering Society, and a director of the Sichuan Modern Logistics Association. He is also a logistics expert of the Sichuan Provincial People's Government Port and Logistics Office, a sports industry expert of the Sichuan Provincial Sports Bureau, an expert of the Sichuan Sports Venue Association, and an evaluation expert of the Chengdu Science and Technology Evaluation Center.
