2024 Swufe Global Academy held by the School of Statistics and the School of Management Science and Engineering——A Journey of Cultural Communication

In July 2024, the Swufe Global Academy held by the School of Statistics and the School of Management Science and Engineering, kicked off an exciting and memorable summer trip for university students from Indonesia and Nepal! The trip had not only exciting cultural experiences or sightseeing tours, but also content-rich courses and advanced technological knowledge.

In this summer trip ，the SGA participants took a lot of great charming courses，including Competition and Simulation of Modern Enterprises,  Panel Data and Network Data Analysis, Data-Driven in Multivariate Statistics . Lecturing teachers of these courses were all from word- class schools. They have been bringing cutting-edge knowledge and skill instruction for participants.

In addition to learning，the participants have visited the famous tourist and cultural attractions in Chengdu ，like the Du Fu Thatched Cottage、Chengdu Panda Base. They felt the echoes of the past and the deep cultural heritage of China and they were mesmerized by the up-close encounters with China's national treasure.

The SGA participants were also big fan of Chinese Culture ,they had a unique Mandarin class and calligraphy workshop led by the experienced Chinese teachers. These activities  provided a fantastic platform for our participants to begin their journey into the Chinese language and culture. Everyone was enthusiastic and engaged, taking their first steps towards connecting with China!
