October 29 , 2024 , Wu Chao, Chairman of Chengdu Yingchao Technology Co., Ltd., a cooperative unit of our school, was invited to give a special lecture on " AI and Big Data: From Data Governance to Intelligent Dialogue, Assisting Education and Scientific Research". Wu Chao is an expert in "Rural E-commerce" of the Ministry of Commerce, an expert in "Big Data" of the National Bureau of Statistics, a member of the "High-level Expert Pool" of the Organization Department of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee, an expert in "Big Data Innovation Statistics" of the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Statistics, the head of the Sichuan E-commerce Big Data Center, and the chairman and general manager of Yingchao Technology Co., Ltd.

Before the lecture, Lu Wanbo, Dean of the School of Management Science and Engineering, and Professor Shuai Qinghong, member of the school party committee and chairman of the school professor committee, met with Wu Chao and his delegation and held a discussion.

During the lecture, Wu Chao, from an entrepreneur's perspective, focused on " AI " and "big data", sharing the value of AI and big data in modern education and scientific research, the role of intelligent dialogue robots in management and teaching, the application of AI in data governance, school-enterprise cooperation to promote the practical application of AI technology in education, and the future of AI in education and scientific research. He gave a wonderful lecture from the perspective of AI technology application.

When presiding over the lecture, Dean Lu Wanbo expressed his warm welcome and sincere gratitude to Chairman Wu Chao for being invited to give a special lecture at our school. He hoped that this lecture would provide new ideas for the cross-disciplinary integration under the background of artificial intelligence and big data, provide new inspiration for exploring school-enterprise cooperation models in the era of artificial intelligence, and contribute the strength of Xi’an University of Finance and Economics to the country’s digital construction.

Chengdu Yingchao Technology Co., Ltd. has always maintained a close cooperative relationship with our school and is one of our key off-campus practice bases. Relying on our school, we jointly build and share the Sichuan Province College Students' Off-campus Practice Base and the first batch of innovative laboratories in Sichuan Province. Under the guidance of the Department of Commerce, we jointly provide advice and suggestions for the development of cross-border e-commerce between China and the five Central Asian countries.
